DMA2013 Priority Space Selection

Don’t miss your opportunity to reserve your place at DMA2013 while on-site at this year’s event.  DMA2013 will take place from October 12-17 at McCormick Place West.

We invite you to select DMA2013 booth space while at this year's conference in Las Vegas starting Monday, October 15. Space selection will take place in the Exhibit Hall, by the DMA Village area.

DMA2013 exhibit space will be selected based on the priority point system to ensure a fair allocation of space. Space selection will be held in Las Vegas this October as follows:
•    On Monday, October 15: only confirmed DMA2012 exhibitors may select space for DMA2013, following priority point order.
•    On Tuesday, October 16: All other companies with active priority points may select space for DMA2013.
We encourage you to take advantage of the priority space selection to guarantee your participation in next year’s conference. Companies who sign up on-site have the advantage of a full year of planning.

Please bring your completed space application and the required 50% deposit with you at your designated time. DMA2013 Priority Space Selection information and required forms are available in the links directly below.
If neither you nor a representative from your company can attend the meeting, you may take advantage of space selection by proxy by returning the application form and deposit to the attention of Gaye Dullaghan at gdullaghan@the-dma.org  by October 4, 2012.

Exhibitor Newsletters

Exhibitor Newsletters will begin in March and will be posted below for your reference.

Input/Update Your Company Listing

Listed below are instructions on how to update your company’s information on the DMA2012 website. Your listing on the web may include a brief company description, up to five business category listings, and a sales contact. The Show Directory on-site will include your company description, web address, and booth number.

To update your listing on the DMA2012 website, please follow the instructions below:

  1. To access the Website: http://www.the-dma.org/cgi/exprofilesignon
  2. Enter the Event Number: ANN0113
  3. Enter Your Assigned Password (letters only – case sensitive)

It is important that you take a few minutes to update your listing, as your information will also appear with your company’s listing on Vivastream’s MyDMA2012 site. Vivastream™ is a social platform for DMA2012, enabling one-to-one interaction between exhibitors and attendees before, during, and after the event. Vivastream also allows you to view all of the topics being discussed at DMA2012. Provide information on what your company can help with – and you’ll be able to see who is interested in the products and solutions you have to offer. Attendees will use this information to select those exhibitors they wish to see at the conference.

To ensure your listing in the DMA2102 Show Directory is correct, be sure to update your information by Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Any updates to your profile after this date will appear on the DMA2012 website and Vivastream’s MyDMA2012 site, but not in the directory.

The International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) has reason to believe that www.fairguide.com, a company operating out of Slovakia, is targeting exhibitors in many tradeshows to purchase a three-year commitment of advertising that is cleverly disguised as an offer of a free directory listing.

At this time, IAEE cannot determine if this operation is just a façade for Construct Data Publishing/Fair Guide, another show guide company, or if it is unrelated. Please be wary of any offers for directory listings that may come your way from Expo-Guide or other organizations who are not affiliated with DMA. This is a bogus offer of a free directory listing that will commit your company to a three-year ad billed annually, starting at $1700 per year. The all-too-familiar offer is to ‘verify that our information about your company is correct and you get a free listing in the exhibitor directory.'

If you wish to file a mail fraud complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspectors regarding Fair Guide Construct Data, click on the following link: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx

The form is relatively short and simple to complete online. Please list the full name of the company as Fair Guide Construct Data and the type of scheme would be False Bill or Invoice. U.S. Postal Inspectors nationwide will be able to track your complaint much easier using this method.

This is not limited to DMA events – it also applies to other tradeshows in which your company participates. If you’re unsure about any “free directory listing” offer you receive for DMA2012, please contact Gaye Dullaghan at 202.861.2469 or email gdullagh@the-dma.org for confirmation.

Please check back for frequent updates to this page.  If you have any questions, please contact Gaye Dullaghan at 202.861.2469 or email gdullagh@the-dma.org
